Tyler “RUFUS” Stoltman #528 opened a few eyes as he hopped on his new Wild West KX85 this weekend in Floresville, TX @ Cycle Ranch. As well as putting in some great rides on his KX65 as of late. We tracked him down hanging at out at home to ask a few questions and see how 85’s were treating him. Here’s what “Rufus” had to say..

My name is Tyler, I am in 6^th grade. 11 years old. I go to Waller Jr High, I live in Waller, TX.

How long have you been riding?

A little over two years

Good. What are some of your short and long term goals

I really want to focus on gaining speed on the 85

What about big bikes when you’re in your 20’s

A career for sure

Tell us a little about the jump up to 85’s

Going from one bike to the other is fun! The 65 is getting easier to ride. The 85 was giving me some headshake issues but I’m passed that finally!

How about the suspension comparison

Just soo much more travel. It never bothers me if I come up a little short on something

Nickname time. How did you score “Rufus”

Well my grandfather would always call me Rufus and it stuck. Plus I was on the hunt for a nickname anyway!
